About Us

The Law Students Association’s have been founded to provide an organization and forum for law students while enhancing their lives by providing opportunities to take part in social activities, inter-university competitions, and educational workshops. The Law Students Association represents students on academic issues, organizes social events, and also facilitates student sport teams and clubs. Moreover, the Association provides support to its members through maintaining study groups, assisting with internships, and hosting monthly social activities.

The Law Students Association aspires to build an open and cordial environment between the administration, faculty and students through the sponsorship of various social, cultural, athletic, and academic events. Also the Association’s function is to bring all law students together, assist in the development of their career prospects and to provide networking opportunities for various areas and aspects of the legal profession and representing them. The U of S Law Students Association achieves its goals through conferences, careers events, competitions and involvement in national events.

Our plans for the upcoming academic year include encouraging academic excellence and social action through a national mooting competition; a national essay writing competition; regional inter-university activities; support for student law organizations to facilitate networking events, to meet and learn from practitioners; and support of pro bono work and pro bono groups.
