Law Clubs Available

If students have the time, we recommend that they take part in at least one organization. There are many benefits to joining an organization which include meeting people and making new friends, appreciating various perspectives, developing learning skills, gaining more insight, and learning how to manage time.

Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Club – Provides students with the opportunity to be more educated regarding these expanding areas of the legal profession, informs students of the steps should they pursue a career in one of these relevant fields.

Health Care Law Club – The Club aims to inform, educate, and promote interest of health care law and related issues among students.

Real Property Law Club – The Club provides an opportunity for students to discover and delve into real estate law and associated real property issues.

Education Law Club – Aims to promote knowledge concerning rising legal matters in the area of education law.

Family Law Club – An organization that was formed to address family law issues including marriage and divorce, child custody, adoption, paternity, domestic violence, child abuse, foster care, juvenile justice, etc.

Women’s Law Club – This Club was created to provide a forum for discussion of issues involving women and the law, and to encourage awareness of the significance of equal opportunity and treatment in the professional field.

Environmental Law Club – Promotes better understanding of the legal aspects of current environmental problems.

International Law Club – The Club engages students in international law and builds discussion for international law matters.

Law and Business Club – A student organization committed to promoting and supporting discussion of business matters and business law issues.

Animal Law Club – Serves to educate future lawyers concerning the needs of animals and aims to inform the U of S law community regarding legal and social topics involving animals, such as animal rights, ownership of animals, and domestic violence.
